(05.07.2022) Update Version - 0.1.2:


This weeks update was a difficult one. I found a bug in which an "Entity" seemingly randomly got drawn over the entire screen and I didn't know how to reproduce it. After about 5 days of trying all sorts of things, the bug suddenly disappeared leaving me with confusion. Additionally, vscode suddenly stopped working, as well. So yeah, it was a tough week! But I managed to push through and still got a lot done. I have added an image below to show the bug. Important: The bug only happens for one frame(like a flicker), it is easy to miss. But if anyone notices this while playing the game, I would appreciate it if you notify me. The following is a list of all the changes included in Update v.0.1.2:

  • Added a way to reset the spend "Skillpoints" in "Town", this feature will be changed/removed later
  •  Adjusted the third Level "Lush Forest" to be less difficult early on
  • Sidebar is no longer being drawn when moved "in"
  • The Skill "Payday" now starts with half of its cooldown 
  • Added a "Town" button to the menu, currently only displaying a single building
  • Positions of Placement Slots are now whole numbers
  • Fixed a bug with "Chilling Touch", it now correctly slows down the attack speed of the enemy hit
  • The Skill "Rejuvenation" did not properly restore HP based on maximum health
  • Improved the performance of preloading all textures at startup by 4x
  • Enemies would skip their attack animation after landing a killing blow. They now finish their animation before doing any other action
  • Removed "Assist EXP" and "EXP by killing", this seems to work better so far
  • Found a Bug where an Entity would be drawn over the entire screen
  • Skills are now shown on the "Hero Bar" when hovering over Heroes, even when they can't be bought yet
  • Added a new Icon for "Enemies per Round", this makes the "Rounds" Icon clearer
  • Changed the unit of delta time internally to be seconds instead of milliseconds
  • Added an "Option" to the "Options Menu" to automatically start the next "Round"
  • The total Enemy count is now being calculated before the round starts
  • The Skill "Dealmaker" shows floating point values now, "Gold" internally is now stored as a float
  • The "Spawn Indicators" when in the "Preparation Stage" of the level are no longer dependent on the "Speed Up" of the game
  • Hovering over "Enemies" while having a "Hero" selected now shows a visual indicator to use the "Right Mouse Button"
  • Reworked a couple of functions to decrease the "Stack Usage" size by more than 2X
