Big Update Better UI and Gameplay + Items


(06.11.2022) Update Version - 0.2.2:

- Added a more complex "Stat" System to allow for better calculation of Skills and Buffs later on.

- The Skill "Payday" is now a "passive Skill" and it also has a downside of HP/ATK reduction

- Added "VSync" Option checkbox to the "Options Menu"

- Reworked how the "Options Menu" is displayed in the "Main Menu"

- The "Options Menu" is now accessible in "Town"

- All Windows in the game now act like "Modals", they close when clicking outside

- The "Missions" Menu now has a "close" button and a menu background

- Fixed a small display error when seconds of 0x have been displayed

- Fixed a small display error where "HP" and "Attack" were not displayed during the level

- Added letterboxing to the engine(game)

- Fixed a small display error when a "Skill" could not be activated

- Changed the internal structure of "Levels", they are now normalized

- Added support for the new "Level" structure to the "Level Editor"

- Added a "Challenge Mode" that unlocks after completing a "Level"

- Added a new Skill "Spiked Shield" that reflects incomming physical damage

- Fixed a bug with beams not dealing any damage

- Rebalanced all the Levels to have better progression from easy to difficult

- Change the Ambient Light and Ambient Mask a bit, it now looks a little like moonlight is shining

- Added a new Level, the Demo version now has six Levels

- Changed the reward Heroes that completing Missions give

- Added a new Skill "Sunder" creates a wave of spikes that deal AOE damage

- Added a new Skill "Spiked Shield" that returns a portion of absorbed physical
    damage back the the attacker

- Arrows now have collision detection, this is a test to see how it feels

- Added a "Skillshot Indicator" to the game, just like in LoL

- Added the ability to select a location for Skillshots in the "Tactics" menu

- Added a first sketch of a Boss enemy, currently only one frame

- Fixed a bunch of Tactics Menu Problem with skillhot "Skills"

- Added LUT Color Grading to the engine

- Added a new Skill "Ice Wave" that freezes enemies hit for 1 second and deals AOE damage

- Added Drawcall speciffic Ambient Light, Skills and Heroes are no longer affected

    by Ambient Light, making the action clearer

- Reworked the Look for the Defender and the Ranger, they no longer have a black outline

(18.11.2022) Update Version - 0.2.3:

- Removed the "Fixed" placement Slots in favor of placing units everywhere.

    Units canno't be placed on top of each other.

- Updated all levels to reflect the positioning change.

- Drop Down Menus close now when clicking outside of them

- Fixed a bug in the options menu, causing it to close when selecting a resolution option

- Fixed a bug where target priority did't not properly select the "First" and "Last" targets

- Removed the auto sorting when moving Heroes form the Baracks to the Team

- Changed how targeting (Right Click) specific enemies works. It now follows a priority list

    before sorting by Y- Position.

- Fixed a bug in which AOE did not affect the AOE Radius of "Skillshots" like "Ice Wave" and

    "Sunder"

- "Sunder" and "Ice Wave" have had their Damage and Cooldown values adjusted to bring them

    more in line with other Skill options.

- Fixed a bug where Images in Vulkan where always created using the size of the screen, causing

    crashes on Laptops with DPI Scaling

- Made it so that units from the "Hero Bar" can no longer be placed while the mouse is still hovering

    over it. This should alleviate accidently placing units behind the "Hero Bar"

- Added an animated list of Heroes to the "Town View", inspiration take from Darkest Dungeon

- The "Team Selection" is now moved to the "Missions View". By dragging and dropping Heroes from the
    "Hero List", you can now build your Team more easily.

- Added a new Skill "Ice Wall" that temporarily creates a Wall that blocks enemies.(Not finished yet)

- Added a new Tutorial, explaining how to player Heroes

- Added two more starting Heroes

- Heroes can now be renamed, with 16 maximum characters

- Added Items to the game that can be obtained by killing Enemies during missions

- Added an Item Shop that buys and sells Items

- Added Item Slots to Heroes "Main Hand", "Off Hand", "Helmet", "Left Ring", "Trinket", "Right Ring"

- Added a different way to "train" "Skills", every level you get to choose from one of three options

- Added a "Dice" Currency that allows to reroll the Skill Choices

(28.01.2023) Update Version - 0.2.4:

- On new saves, the Shop now offers all Items

- Added Adrenaline Bar that fills up as units do their basic actions

- Added Adrenaline Cost to Skills, and updated the usage cost to reflect the change

- Added "UP" and "DOWN" buttons to the Hero List in Town

- Improved the "scrolling" of the Hero List in Town using Velocity over lerping

- Added a visual tutorial on "How to add Heroes to the Team"

- Fixed a Bug the textures being cliped

- Moving Heroes up and down in the "Hero Collection" on the right, sorts them now

- Fixed a bug where clicking on Heroes in the "Missions" windows would remove them from the team

- Killing Enemies during Missions now grants more gold
- Removed implicit sorting when adding a new Hero to the Collection

- Removed the initial Cooldown of Skills because they now cost Energy

- Fixed the Alignment of passive Skills in the "Diablo Bar"
- Made the Item Descriptions better(clearer), including color

(31.01.2023) Update Version - 0.2.5:

- Fixed a Bug where "Building your Team" in "Challenge Mode" would crash the game

- Fixed a Bug where deleting the last rule in the "Tactics Window" would crash the game

- Fixed a Bug where removing all Units from the Team was possible, and in turn cause a crash when
    opening the Tactics Window

- Removing all Units from the Team is no longer possible

- In the "Skill Menu" the "Usage Cost" (Energy) now displays the correct value

- Added "Tabs" to the "Hero Inventory", It is now possible to switch between Items and Stats
