(14.07.2022) Update Version - 0.1.3:


Hello again, this is now my second update. This week was a lot better in terms of working on the game. I'm still facing the wired full screen bug, even tho it has gone for now. I'm sure it's gonna come back in the future. I didn't add a lot of content this week as I was working mostly on upgrading my pixel art and the general look + feel of the game. For example, there is now a unified "Pause Screen" that pops up when opening the "Tactics", "Options" and "Skill" Menus during a level. The following is a list of all the changes included in Update v.0.1.3:

  • Fixed a bug where the number of spawned and killed Enemies did not line up leaving Enemies to kill left over after the round was complete
  • The "Skill Menu" can now be opened/toggled by pressing the "S Key"
  • Fixed a bug where "Beams" were moving very slowly
  • Fixed a bug in which beams did not do "Texture Repeat"
  • "Lightning Jumps" caused by "Lightning Damage" now use "Texture Repeat", they also follow the two targets they are connected to
  • Balanced the "Endless Assault" Level, especially the later rounds
  • Fixed a bug in which Skills could not be reset in Town
  • Added a unified "Pause", meaning that "Tactics", "Options" and "Skill" Menus now "Pause" the game.
  • Added a Bloons like "Options Menu" to the Level. This menu allows to "Continue", "Restart", go "Home" and it allows to change the Sound Volume plus other options.
  • The "Pause Menu" is now Opaque, the transparent "Pause Menu" will later be reused for "Hardcore Mode"
  • Damaged Enemies now "glow" white for a short time (Damage Indicator)
  • Damaged Heroes now "glow" red for a short time (Damage Indicator)
  • Added a Health Bar animation with a small delay
  • Fixed the Description of some Skills
  • The "Facing Direction" is now only changed when "Ramping Up" and Attack. And after the Attack has happened the animation will continue until done (Ramp down after Attack)
  • Fixed a bug in which "Any Key Press" was also triggered by "releasing" Keys
  • Changed the "Campside Crossroads" and "Endless Assault" Levels to have more "depth", the other levels will follow
  • Added a new Building "Library" to the town in which the Skills for Heroes can be reset.  This will be removed/changed later!!!
  • Fixed a bug where changing the animation "State" would sometimes cause "instant" attacks
